Frédéric CHAUDIERE is a founding member of the International Music Academy of Montpellier; he is the President and Treasurer. A stringed instrument maker, he has his premises in Montpellier. He has been participating for over fifteen years, in the musical and cultural activity of the city and its region. Having thrown the Trans'art Festival of the Pic Saint Loup, he created the A.I.M.M. with professors, virtuosos and longstanding friends. In practice, it makes an intermediary between the Academy and the Radio France Festival.

Alexandru DUMITRACHE, is a founding member of the Academy. He is a delegate in public affairs and a cellist that resides in New York, USA.- This allows him to promote the Academy to international musicians. As well as guide them into the correct courses if they are interested in participating in any of the Masters Classes in Montpellier.

Wolfram NEUREITHER , member of the Council of Administration, he is a stringed instrument maker. Residing in Montpellier since 1994. He has been a participant in the activity of the Academy since its launching. Today he organises and enlivens concerts for and with the  professors and pupils. During July, he participates in receptions and the supervision of guests, Part of the responsibly is to accompany them during outings and musical dates when required.

Nicolas GILLES , member of the council of Administration. He is a stringed instrument maker in Montpellier and has been with the Academy since his origin. He participates in all decisions and takes responsibility for the organization and  concerts of the pupils. During Master Classes, he is the intermediary between the pupils of the Academy and the members of the A.I.M.M. Also a very important and informative job is he receives the  pupils into his workshop and  discuses what is involved in the job as a luthier.

Lucie CHAUDIERE is employed by the association to manage daily tasks. Hired in May, 2005, she is in charge of the organization of the Master Classes and of administrative files in collaboration with the members of the Council of Administration. During the summer master class's she assures the smooth running of the office and courses as well as having direct contact with the pupils and the professors through out the year.
